Travel

We received notice yesterday that we will be able to travel to meet the baby and spend some time leaving on Saturday January 9. We will be flying to Moscow on the 9th (arriving on the 10th) then we will be traveling to Yaroslavl to spend a day with the baby. After that we travel back to Moscow to get our medical exams done then catch a flight home on Wednesday, January 13. After this we will have a court date set to finalize the adoption roughly 5-6 weeks later. We will make every attempt to update this blog with pictures, status, etc. while we are traveling!

We received our referral on Saturday (November 21). His Russian name is Maxim and he was born in March of 2009 – putting him at about 8 months. We find out next week when we get to travel but our agency believes we will be able to sometime around December 15. We are looking forward to traveling and meeting him!
