Travel
We received notice yesterday that we will be able to travel to meet the baby and spend some time leaving on Saturday January 9. We will be flying to Moscow on the 9th (arriving on the 10th) then we will be traveling to Yaroslavl to spend a day with the baby. After that we travel back to Moscow to get our medical exams done then catch a flight home on Wednesday, January 13. After this we will have a court date set to finalize the adoption roughly 5-6 weeks later. We will make every attempt to update this blog with pictures, status, etc. while we are traveling!

I am so happy for you guys. The end is in sight and soon you will have little Maxim here in good old USA. You will continue to be in my prayers that things go smoothly and you have safe travels. Can't wait to see what he looks like now.
Maybe Russia will be warmer than Iowa, wouldn't that be a trip.

We are so excited, what a long journey (in more ways than one) to bring your little boy home!! Please gobble his cheeks for me and tell him that G&G Keen can not wait to hold him and love him up. Safe trip.
